Why are all my private, personal pictures gone? Why has my header disappeared

  My header and all my photos have disappeared! And, I am being asked to buy another “theme”! What is going on?

  Hi there – It looks like you’ve deleted some images from your Media Library here:
  https://jacquelinecaseypoetry.wordpress.com/wp-admin/upload.php

  If you delete images from there, they’ll appear on your blog for awhile because of cacheing, but eventually they will show as broken images.

  If you change themes, you sometimes have to upload a header again; you can do that here:
  https://jacquelinecaseypoetry.wordpress.com/wp-admin/themes.php?page=custom-header

  Where are you seeing the notice to buy another theme? You own Currents but have switched to the free theme Typo. You can switch back to Currents in Appearance->Themes without having to pay again.

  Thanks so much for your help. I don’t know where I saw notice to upgrade/buy a theme. My header disappeared. That is when I was prompted to buy another theme. My header contained a personal photo/pic taken especially for my header. It disappeared, along with some really nice photos I have collected over the years. I know the photos I have deleted from my library. I am referring to those I did not delete! None of my library is accessible, altho I can ‘see” the blank/framed spaces and they still have their titles/data, etc. over to the right as if they are still there! They just are not accessible when I click on them to open or add to a posting.

  Currently, there are only 18 images in your Media Library:

  If there is any image that should appear on your blog that’s not in the Media Library, it won’t work. For example, the two broken images in the Easter Island post — one file was deleted six days ago and the other seven days ago.

  I do see the files that are still in your Media Library, though — can you please make a screenshot of what you’re seeing in the Media Library, where you can’t open the images so I can better understand?   You can upload it to your blog’s Media Library and I can look at it there.

  When I click on the link supplied (above) to Media Library, I am given
  the option of either staying on the page or leaving and losing all data!
  I am having trouble following directions for supplying you with ‘screenshot’. I am told (when I click on link) to “stay on page” or “leave page”! What does that mean? Do I have a virus? I do know that earlier, several weeks ago, Google tried to put me (automatically, without my asking!) into a “circle” of people I do not know! I did not like that, so I uninstalled google.
