Why are all the themes so boring?

Can we please have some more creative themes?
The only one I like is ‘Sweet Blossom’ but I think its too narrow.
I would love to see some more girly themes as they all look so boring and boyish.

Hi there—we do love suggestions for new themes. If you see a WordPress theme you love out in the wild please let us know the name and link and we’ll check it out for use on WordPress.com.
In the meantime here are a few of our themes that might fit your criteria: Koi, Girl in Green, Albeo, Flower Power, Fresh Bananas, Fauna, Rounded, Spectrum, and Spring Loaded. Bueno also has a pink color scheme as an option.

hey lance i like the theme fusion ;) and i am using it now but we need more thames like that like fusion :) and i have a suggestion can u guys add a theme is specially for multimedia blogger bcs so for out 103 themes only 2 themes which can be used for multimedia ..and yeah i will post some coll themes out there in my next comment

@kannadasongsdownload What do you mean about not supporting multimedia? Any theme should allow embedding videos and sound files in posts or pages.

If you are looking for themes with wide posting areas, then take a look at this blog post by Panos where he lists the maximum widths for all the various themes here. There are a number of them that have very wide post areas, and there there are also a number of themes now that allow you to turn off the sidebars as well, giving you the full width of the content area.
