I am getting ads popping constantly as I click through my normal wordpress activity trying to edit and search the site. Is this new? I have premium blog and don’t understand why I’m getting any ads popping up.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, with the Premium upgrade, you should not be seeing ads at baddoodle.com/. If possible, send me a screenshot, so I can better understand the issue. Snap a shot or two of these pops, so I can take a look at what you’re experiencing. You can simply upload the screenshot to your Media Library, like any other image, and I’ll be able to access it from there. Just let me know when there’s something I should look at.

The page at the following link has some helpful tips for taking screenshots:

    Take a Screenshot

Thanks much. We’ll get to the bottom of this.

Thank you for the prompt reply … I’ve just uploaded to screen shots to my media library … when I click on “help” or even my recent drafts in Dashboard, these windows pop up with the ads you see there. It’s constant and I’ve never had this before. I’ve got my pop up’s blocked in my browser (safari) and am on a mac with all software for my OS and browsers updated.

I’m happy to hear this isn’t normal WP behavior as I’ve been happily blogging for several years now with out this issue. Thanks much.

The most recent photo shows this page as I type … note the high lit green words … each one is acting as an auto link to some ad that pops up as well … never seen this before either.

Well, seems it’s a bug on my desktop computer … my laptop has none of the issues … I will seek to run some anti virus software. Thanks much.

Thanks for letting me know. I was just going to suggest that this may be the case…but was hoping it wasn’t.

Can you switch to either Chrome or Safari on your Mac? Many times, these issues are related to an individual browser.

Additionally, you may also try troubleshooting the issue in your Safari browser by visiting the Apple support site:
    http://support.apple.com/

I am not certain which version of Safari or OS you’re running, but you can search for a solution according to those parameters.

Best of luck clearing up this annoyance. Let me know if we can help. Thanks!
