Why are blogs I do not follow showing up in my blogs I follow feed in Reader?

  Howdy Nicola,

  It’s possible someone you follow is using the Reblog feature to share others’ posts. You can read more about Reblogging here:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/reblogs/

  If that’s not the case, can you point me to some specific examples of blogs you are not following that are showing up in your Reader so I can investigate further? Thanks!

  Hi Nicola, I wanted to let you know that our developers have identified a bug that’s causing “stray” blog posts to show up in a small percentage of folks’ Readers. I’m sorry about the glitch and realize that it’s frustrating to see posts from blogs you don’t follow in your Reader. While our developers have investigated the issue, they don’t have a timeline on a fix. I’ll keep you posted here if I have any further news and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience in the meantime.
