Why are both my original AND my new domain now linking to a third party?!

I just paid $25 for the domain, bravenewpublishing.com. It is now linking me to a company called Brave New Productions. I tried switching the primary domain from the new one, which I just paid for, back to the old one; but now even the OLD domain STILL links to this other company, so I am no longer able to access my site/show it to anyone who is not an admin.

I apologize for the mixup. Our domain administrator had a five minute downtime which occurred at the same time you purchased your domain. The domain you had attempted to purchase, bravenewpublishing.com, was already registered and was not available for purchase (see: http://who.wildwestdomains.com/WhoIs.aspx?prog_id=wildwestdomains&domain=bravenewpublishing.com ).
Again, I apologize. I have credited your account for the price of the domain, so please try to register a different domain by visiting the Store->Domains link in your site’s dashboard.
Please let me know if you have any questions or need anything else. I’m going to close the other threads that you opened, so you’re aware.

Whew! Thank you SO MUCH for explaining this to me. It’s been driving me crazy. Also I don’t know if you’re the one who did this but someone enabled me to make my blog over again with a different address, and kept my customized settings– so thanks again for that, too! I didn’t want to have to buy all those packages over again when I only just bought them yesterday!
When I logged in today and saw that the domain was missing I wondered what had happened…glad to know I’ll be refunded, no harm done :-)
