Why are certain pages blocked out

    My website has been downgraded from a paid domain page to unpaid site. Most of the pages are still visible to visitors and I am very thankful. But there are some not visible. Why are some of the pages are blocked with the ‘expiry’ messages displayed? Could I resume all to become free use of blog like previously, so that visitors can come in and read? How to do that if possible?

    The site I need help with is wisefocusblog.wordpress.com.

    Hi @chokjevon, could you clarify which pages are blocked out, and also include a page that has that link on it? I am guessing you have some pages that are hard-linked to the old domain, and need to edit them so they just go to the page on the site regardless of the domain.

    My blog post is being blocked out
    The above is one of the examples of my blogs being blocked out. In fact I have discovered most of my blogs posted in the year 2019 are all blocked out. Could you please teach me how to unblocked them?

    Is this perhaps what you’re looking for?

    If so, the problem is that your domain you had with us, wisefocusblog.com, expired and was removed from your site in March last year, so any links using that domain will no longer work, and you need to use the free WordPress.com address instead to access your content.

    wisefocusblog.com has since been registered by someone else at another domain provider, so we have no way of getting that domain back for you any more.

    Dear Kokkieh,

    Thank you for looking into my problem. I understand the cause of it.

    Could you teach me how I could access those blogs using my free WordPress.com address? Is there any way that I can untie those links to the old domain or/and retie to the free WordPress.com? Do I need to repost them using current free website status?

    You’ll just need to edit any posts or pages with the old links, and replace them with the new links.
