Why are daily and weekly email notifications again not working?

    I ran into this problem originally in August. Then, the problem was fixed for a few weeks. Today, I again received no daily or weekly email notifications of the blogs I follow.

    I follow more than 160 blogs, and the Reader is inefficient for keeping track of posts. Email notifications allow me to set delivery for each blog I follow to daily or weekly. The Reader doesn’t. Email notifications let me easily delete what I have read and to keep what I haven’t. The Reader doesn’t. Until the Reader can be customized, email notifications remain the best way for me to stay on top of blogs.

    This is extremely frustrating. I have not changed any settings for my delivery preferences. Everything is still set to “daily” or “weekly.” Can you please provide an ETA for resolving this problem?

    Hi there,

    I’m sorry for the interruption in your email notifications. Thanks for letting us know about it! This should be fixed now, but please let me know if you’re still not getting email notifications. We’re also continuing to investigate this issue, to try to prevent it in the future.

    I did get my daily post for today, but it looks like the weekly will not appear until next week? If so, will it include the missed posts from this last week?

    A possibly related problem that I’m hearing about is that some bloggers are getting notifications that are missing some posts. One blogger mentioned that even though my posts should be in her daily notifications, they aren’t being included. So I’m wondering if this is a more widespread problem, and we bloggers haven’t noticed the missing posts.
