Why are donors ‘subscribed’ after one time donation? Can this be changed?
-
This may just be a wording issue, but I can’t find where to change the text!
I’ve connected Stripe to my WordPress site (I don’t have business plan, so not using any plug-ins, just the standard donate block)
It all works fine, but when someone does a one-time donation, after the card details pop-up, there is a final display which reads: You are now subscribed to *site name*
Now I do want subscribers, but also I know people who would be put out if they just wanted to donate money without adding themselves to a mailing list.
I’m not going to add them, but is there any way of changing this text?
Thanks!

Also, in the email that the donor receives, although it says ‘one-time donation’ the text still reads – renewal date (today’s date) and the following:
Run Don’t Walk donations are managed at WordPress.com. To avoid being charged again, cancel your donation before the renewal date listed above.
Can this text be changed? Again, even though it’s a one time donation, feels like I’m tricking people into subscribing!
