Why are emails viewed using Internet Explorer being blocked?

  • Unknown's avatar

I am a middle school teacher who uses by blog to keep parents informed. People who use Internet Explorer as their browser and who are subscribed to my blog get nothing but a gray screen when an email is received. If I am using Internet Explorer to view my email and I get notified that I have a new subscriber, I also get a gray screen. When I use Google Chrome, I don’t have this problem. I cannot control what browser my parents use. And it’s important that they are able to confirm their subscriptions and be able to read what I post on their email. This only started happening in the past couple of weeks, before that it wasn’t an issue. Can you please fix the problem??!
    Thanks,

    Hi Lin,

Thanks for reporting this issue! I’m very sorry to hear that this is creating difficulty for your students’ parents.

However, we recently switched all of our emails over to HTML, which has caused some display problems with older email clients. We are currently working on a fix for this problem and I’ve passed your information on to our team to help them resolve this issue as quickly as possible.

Ok, thanks for the feedback. FYI, I did make sure I have the latest version of IE, but it is still giving the gray screen.

    Thanks!

  • This should be all fixed up now. Sorry for the trouble!
