Why are Facebook & Twitter widgets not working?

  Even after configuring, the Facebook Like Box isn’t showing up as well as the Twitter timeline one. I’ve encountered this for a while now

  We cannot use the widgets provided by Facebook and Twitter on WordPress.COM hosted blogs. Please see here for Facebook integration http://en.support.wordpress.com/facebook-integration/ and here for Twitter integration http://en.support.wordpress.com/twitter/

  Actually the widgets provided by WordPress are what I’ve been using, but they don’t seem to be working..

  And how exactly did you configure it? What are your privacy settings on Facebook and Twitter?

  I just followed the instructions on the widget (which worked for me in the past). Both are public

  Like, what exactly did you put inside the Twitter widget? You need to put an ID. What did you put in? Don’t make us guess. Give us the exact information you put in the widgets. We cannot help you until you do.

  i have the same problem. it just shows up as “My Tweets”. not as the 3 most recent tweets i set up. I copy pasted my twitter widget config from twitter itself.

  Don’t do that, because it doesn’t work. Follow the instructions in the Support documents here.
