why are featured images in sidebar not updating when changed on post?

  i have changed the featured image on one of my posts. i removed the old image successfully and set a new one. the old image is still showing up on the second column (image sidebar) and i can’t get it to update. its happening on all devices, despite reloading and clearing caches.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Sidebars are cached, and can take up to an hour to reload. Have you waited an hour?

  The Image sidebar in Ideation & Intent doesn’t display your featured images, it displays imaged uploaded to your latest posts. So changing the featured image or even removing an image from a post makes no difference. If you don’t want the image in question on the sidebar, then (assuming you don’t want it on the post either) you need to go to Media > Library and permanently delete it.
