Why are featured images not showing at all in Internet Explorer 9?

  I am using the Harmonic Theme and featured images on all pages are not showing in Internet Explorer 9

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I cannot upgrade the browser as it is through my workplace. I figured that was the issue, just checking.

  Please take a look at the browser stats here http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_explorer.asp and note how few visitors will be affected by this.
