Why are followers not receiving emails?

  Some of my followers are not receiving emails, even though they appear on my followers list. What am I doing wrong?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Can you ask them to check their spam folders?

  Otherwise it’s best to have them contact us, providing your site address that they want to follow. That way, we can have a look for them.

  Thanks for the response. Yes, I have suggested they check spam, but several have been certain it’s not there. I’ve emailed all of them to let me know if they’re still having trouble; when I hear back I’ll have them get in touch.

  I should say too that I really have a tough time with the tutorials . . . Can I be that out of it?

  What tutorials do you mean exactly? The getting started guide might be a good place to start, if you want a refresher:

  I’ve had the same problem this week. My site is “Hidden” – and I’ve actually included one of my email accounts as “follower” – no emails from my blog were found in any of the email folders…

  @M2: In the future, it’s best to open a new thread. These issues can be unrelated, even if they have the same symptom.

  I’d recommend you check your notification preferences. You may need to enable email notifications for any blogs you’re following.
