Why are followers of my blog receiving two notification emails for each new post

  For the last few days, followers of my blog have been receiving two notification emails every time I publish a new post. I know this is happening for at least three of my followers. Is there anything I can do to stop this happening? I don’t want to annoy people! Thanks.

  It’s probably something simple like they’ve clicked the button at the bottom of a comment and have also set their following settings to send them emails, but I’ll modlook this just in case it isn’t, so that staff will see it. Hang on.

  I don’t see anything that would be sending out two notifications, and this is the only report that I can find.

  Are the emails all the same format, or are they different?

  Thanks for your replies. The emails were identical. It happened with about three posts, but seems okay again now, although we didn’t change anything.
