Why are Google ads showing up on bottom of my posts

Two problems reported by my readers:
1. Google ads are showing up at the bottom of my post. Specifically, I posted this: http://eugenecho.wordpress.com/2010/10/12/asian-americans-are-taking-over-the-music-industry/ and some of my readers have contacted me to share the offense at ads targeted at Asian women. Ugh.
2. My blog feed is syndicating out the general wordpress.com blog. Why and how?

WordPress occasionally shows ads on our blogs here to help keep this service free as explained at the bottom of the “features” page and in the support document on advertising.

http://en.support.wordpress.com/advertising/Contact staff directly when you see an ad that is inappropriate and they will take care of it.
Also, there is the “no-ads” upgrade which will take all ads off your blog.
