Why are images not being loaded at the placement of the cursor?

The pictures I’m uploading goes to the top of the blog post instead of where the cursor placement is. So now I have to drag every picture to where I want it in the post? What can be done about this?

I’m not able to reproduce this issue.
Could you try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies, and insert your image again?

I’ve cleared the cache and cookies from the browser and am still having the same issue. I’m using Internet Explorer with Windows 7.

Okay support staff, I did a test blog post on chrome and the first picture was okay, thereafter, I couldn’t get the cursor to go next to the thumbnail photo.

I like to place three thumbnail pics next to each other , I can’t do that on Chrome.
There doesn’t seem to be any way to align the pics even though I select “left” alignment with thumbnail size.On Internet Explorer with Windows 7, the picture doesn’t appear at the cursor placement. The first pic does and thereafter, the pic being loaded end up at the top of the post. I then have to drag the photo to where I want it.
HELP!
I didn’t have any problems before wordpress upgraded. Please help me resolve this issue..

Try giving yourself one or two extra line breaks to work with, then see if you can insert the image within the blank line breaks.
If that works, you can delete the extra line breaks after the image is inserted.

I did as you asked by adding extra line breaks and inserting image between the blank breaks. The same thing happens; the first set of 3 pics line up just fine. After posting the next paragraph, I add several line breaks and post another paragraph. I place the cursor in between the blank line breaks, go to add an image and the pic goes right to the top of the post, not at the original cursor placement.

I created a test post titled: TESTING
I stumbled upon something else; it seems that the images loads properly intermittantly when I’m in the Edit Post main page. But when I click the “toggle full-screen mode” and start posting and loading images from there, the pics go directly to the top of the post, not at where the cursor is placed.

And it’s definitely in full screen mode only? I’m having trouble reproducing this problem.

This just isn’t happening for me, which is odd. I run a very plain version of IE 9. Do you have any add-ons installed in yours?
If so, would you mind disabling them and checking again?
