Why are images squished?

  Why are images appearing shortened like they have been stepped on? I added two new images recently and about half the time they appear correctly, about 2″ high, but sometimes show up squished down to 1/4″. For example, image on Biography tab of book cover for I’ve Got a Clue and another book cover in a post: http://nancyellenhird.wordpress.com/2013/06/21/science-fiction-for-ya-an-announcemnt-by-j-d-rempel/ ?
