Why are my blogs not showing the date they are actually published ?

I’ll restrain myself but watch out for raincoaster and never cross her. She is also a fearsome Canuck intellectual, who can take anyone out, at any time. (joke, sortof)

P.S. It’s been fun getting to know you. Don’t hesitate to post for help if you need it because we actually quite kind and very polite, like most Canadians are. ;)

And that missing word above was “are”. lol :D Pass the eggnog please.

Thanks for all your help, I won’t hesitate in coming back on here if I need any assistance in the future.

Coincidences eh ! I am currently in a Motorhome (kinda like an RV but smaller) in Morocco on a Campsite. There are a Canadian couple here from Vancouver !!

Yes indeed we Canucks are everywhere. I am in the Gulf Islands off the west coast of Canada in the Salish Sea.

P.S. It’s in your best interest if we stop chatting here because Staff work through threads chronologically and when we post we move the timestamps forward which means it takes longer to get their help.

Thanks for that, nice chatting to you, goodnight 😄😵😷

    Hey everyone!

Just to make sure I understand correctly, the timestamp issue is only happening when posts are published/scheduled from third-party apps. Is that correct?

@ericleech1 – When you publish a post, is the date set correctly on the right-hand side shown here?

Hi Jeremy, problem now resolved, or at least found a way to fix it !! I am sure that when I used to publish older posts, that it didn’t matter when the draft was first started, once the post was actually published the date stamp was the ‘published’ date not the date the pist was first drafted, if yo get my drift ? However, now, the date that appears when I publish a pist is the date I first created the draft !! It doesn’t just happen with third party Apps.

As I say, I have now been ‘educated’ in how to change the ‘date stamps’ before I actually publish 😄

That’s still not intended! I’m glad you’re able to get this fixed up now manually, but the date should automatically change. It sounds like you’re using the classic dashboard at ericandshazza.wordpress.com/wp-admin. Are you starting and publishing the post from there (i.e. not using the mobile app in between to update)?

I just want to make sure I’m testing correctly!
