Why are my cartoon graphics missing

  Downloaded my usual cartoons for my blog, saved draft on each one, and all I have is my text. What happened and how do I recover them. I also looked at each saved revision and they are not there.

  Yes, that’s today’s posted blog. I have a “draft” “Ted cruz” scheduled for publishing tomorrow. That’s the one that the cartoons were missing from. I have since gone back and reposted all the cartoons but have no idea why they did not save the first time. i don’t know if you can look at my saved drafts on that post, but perhaps if you can, you might see a problem. Then again, it might be my browser. I can’t be absolutely sure.

  I’m a volunteer so cannot see anything that is not public.
  It could have been a browser issue. Or a connection problem.

  Did you upload the files to your media library? Did you see the images after the upload? Then it looks like a problem between the media library and inserting into the post.

  Or did you upload the files while you were editing the post, ie so they would be automatically attached to that post.

  I’d advise that you document your steps next time you make a new post, with screen shots if possible. Perhaps staff can explain this problem, but even so they will need details.

  If your problem is solved for now, then most likely staff cannot see what went wrong. If it happens again, then post in these forums with a modlook tag before you move on.

  Sorry that I cannot advise further. This thread is still open so perhaps some other volunteer will have more insight into the cause.

  OK…thanks…..I’ll see what happens tomorrow as I create and insert the new cartoons. Appreciate your quick replies and assistance. I’ve set the timer on tomorrow’s blog and so far the reposted cartoons are still there.
