Why are my comments mostly people trying to sell me things?

  I am getting a ton of advertising comments coming thru.
  Especially from China or Japan.(I think, as they are written in a different script.) My filters are obviously not working. Today I emptied 76 of them. Approximately a month ago it was 300 or so! Help!

  Are the comments going live, being caught in moderation, or in the spam folder?
