Why are my earlier posts looking like words typed over words?
-
Later posts are over-printing creating double exposure look. I turned infinite scroll off, but it still looks like words on top of words.

Can you grab a screenshot of where you see this happening on your site?
http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/I just hit the “Load more posts” 4 times and haven’t seen this behavior.
-
It is in the 4th time you hit Load More Posts that it shows up on the post “Jesus Included Women in His Ministry.” I am not seeing where to get the screenshot, sorry. I use Firefox and have cleared catche and all. Very strange.

I am using Chrome 19 and have hit the bottom of the front page, to your very first post (Creation of the First Woman), and do not see what you describe.
In Firefox 14.0.1, although again I do not see the garbled words as you describe, however the content background is lost somewhere around the middle of the post from September 15th.
I’m going to tag this for Staff assistance, please be patient while they get back to you.
-
Thank you. Also, I forgot to share that lots of it is black as well, where the words are on top of words.
-
-
I’m not seeing the problem myself with Firefox 14.0.1.
Were you able to resolve the issue?
-
-
Wow, this is really strange. Yes, as I scroll down, when I get to the post “Jesus Included Women in His Ministry,” the words from the post just before it start showing up on top of the words in this post. As I continue to scroll, there are black bars that go horizontal in the middle of the posts and then it’s all black except for the words are very faint, some of the words are in red, and you can see the Share buttons, but very illegible. I wish I could show you what I am seeing. I checked to make sure that my Firefox is updated and it is. I just do not know what could be causing this. What a mystery!

Ah, that just sounds like render lag, which can happen on slower computers.
Do you have any better luck in a different browser, like Chrome?
-
I tried to save the page to send to you, but I got an error message that it could not save it because the source file could not be read. Is it possible that I have been hacked? Just wondering.
-
No, my computer is topnotch with 2GB ram and high speed internet. I am not seeing this anywhere else I go, only on my blog.
-
I will try IE and see what happens. I have used FF forever and never had this problem before. It has never happened on my blog before either.
-
No, not hacked. When you save a page, it always saves as source code, because that’s what a page is. It’s just render lag.
Any luck with IE?
-
Ok, you seem to have something there, macmanx. It is not showing up like that in IE. What do I need to do? Will it just correct itself eventually? Perhaps I will just delete those older posts.
-
No, don’t delete anything. It has absolutely nothing to do with your blog.
Try clearing Firefox’s cache and cookies: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/
If that doesn’t work, try disabling all of your Firefox add-ons, then check again.
-
I am not sure about it being render code, because it is not like code, it is the actual words like they are double exposed, written over and over the top of each other. I probably just do not understand this technical stuff. ;-(
-
Ok. I will clear the cache and cookies again. I have a feeling it may have something to do with an addon. Just don’t know which one.
-
Nothing has changed. I even went and grabbed a fresh download of firefox, installed new Java and updated adobe. I do not know what else to do. I figured out how to create a screen shot and have saved it in a Word document. How do I get it to you?
