Why are my files not updated when they are part of the blog page?
-
I’ve edited pages from my blog. The updates do not show from the blog page, but shows fine in the original file. Is there somewhere I can tell the blog page to update the files?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey there!
Could you please give me an example?
It would help if you could provide a link to:
- The original file that does display properly.
- The “live” page on your website.
Once I can compare those, I’ll be able to help further.
Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks very much.

Hi thatrobyn,
Here is the problem “blog page” – http://loiselleblog.com/blog/
Scroll to the 2nd post: “Confederation Building” and note that images point to broken links.
Now, click on “Originally posted on Michel Loiselle Photos:” at the top, and it points to the fixed original file.
I need the “Blog” page to refer to the fixed original file.
I look forward to your reply,
Michel

Hello Michel,
There might be a bit of confusion because, while you named the post the same thing,
they are actually two separate posts:http://loiselleblog.com/2014/07/28/confederation-building-parliament-hill-2/
http://loiselleblog.com/2014/03/15/confederation-building-parliament-hill/
The first link above was published on July 28, 2014…and the second link was published on March 15, 2014.
* You can delete the broken post permanently, if you’d like…and keep the post that works. You can even change the publish date of the working post, so it moves to your front page.
* Or, you can copy/paste all the content from the Text tab in the working post, and replace/paste it into the Text tab of the “broken” post. Then, click update to save the Then you will have two identical posts, as it seems you tried to do initially.
Let me know if one of these solutions works for you. If not, please tell me exactly what you want to accomplish, and I can help more.
Thanks much.
