Why are my image widgets not visible?
-
I have configured my image widgets correctly, I’m sure, but my images do not show in the widget areas of my blog. Instead I am seeing the following message: “Please configure the Image widget in your widget settings.” I simply don’t know what this means. Can you help please?

Hi there!
The message is displaying because your Image Widget is currently blank:
http://d.pr/i/U9VuYou need to at least put the image URL in the “Image URL” link and save your changes to get the widget set up properly. Here’s more information on configuring this widget for your reference:

Thank you. I have, several times, checked that i have put the image URL in the image widget. I must be doing something wrong, but I don’t know what. Some of the images in the widget area do display correctly but only when I am reading an individual post, not when I’m on the front page, looking at several posts. I shall just have to kep trying but I do know that I’m putting the image URL in. It may be that for some reason it is not being saved.

If you still have the problem with the image not saving, please let me know and I will be happy to look into this further to make sure there isn’t something else going on that’s causing the problem.
Thanks!
