Why are my old initials showing up in search engine results for my new blog?

  Hi,
  I recently deleted an old blog called ‘beangryatthesun.wordpress.com’ and started a new one called ‘mountmaxwellradio.wordpress.com. Everything has gone smoothyl except for one thing. In search engines, my new blog keeps coming up as (by J.T.).
  J.T. was an old user name of mine or something, but I cannot find it located in any of my personal settings. I need to get rid of it because it’s important that this blog is not associated with my old initials.
  Note: It doesn’t show anywhere on the blog itself, only in search engine results!

  Hi J.T. (if that is your real name),

  I have a similar issue, but I would not like my author name to appear in Google search results at all.

  I hope someone can help with this one.
