Why are my paragraph breaks being eliminated?

  I’m trying to leave a deliberate blank line in between paragraphs, but when I post everything gets compressed. I’ve posted 250+ times and have never had this issue. It’s now WYSIWYG-ing any more…. Any ideas?

  This has only happened on my latest post and several attempts to correct over 2 days have been unsuccessful…. Thanks!

  Hi there!

  Can you give me a link to the post you’re having trouble with? Have you checked the Text editor to make sure there aren’t any extra tags getting in your way?

  Not sure about the text editor and/or tags… Just went about it the same way I’ve been doing it for the past 2 years. Any advice is appreciated!

  Thanks for that link! If you take a look in your Text editor, you’ll see a lot of paragraph tags like this:

  <p style="color:#333233;">...</p>

  If you remove all of these p tags, you’ll be able to enter line breaks in the Visual editor again.

  Are you writing your post in Word and copying it over? Word and other rich text editors can add a lot of extraneous code like the p tags in your post. We have some information on copying text from Word and some suggestions for other editors that work better:

  Microsoft Word
