Why are my photos not displaying properly?

In slideshow mode the photos are running into the text that follows. I switched to tiled mosaic. When I click on the photos to do a manual slide show they distort the entire page, running off the right margin and pushing the “next” button out of the banner. I resized smaller and it is still happening. Are my photos too large? Do I need to make them even smaller?

I see that you have photos on your recent blog post here: It’s Over Already?
Is that where you’re having trouble with the photos? When I looked at that post, everything looked great to me. I didn’t see any issues with the page being distorted.
If you’re still seeing problems there, can you provide a screenshot of what you are seeing? You can upload screenshots to your Media Library under Media > Add New in your dashboard, or you can use an online service such as Snaggy. That will help me get a better sense of what’s going on so I can troubleshoot this for you! :)

I can’t send you a screen shot because it looks perfect on my computer. But here is a link to the posting that a couple of people said was messed up.

Hi there – at that link, I see only a password-protected post. It’s quite possible there’s a display issue in IE8. Can you please link me directly to one of the slideshows that aren’t displaying properly, so I can test it out in that browser?

Hi there – I am not able to reproduce the display problem you describe in IE8, but I do notice that your square tiled galleries (rather than the tiled mosaic galleries) aren’t displaying properly at all, but appear very squished over to the left. Is this what you’re seeing? This is a known bug, and I’ve added your report to the bug report and will keep you updated on the progress.
The carousel (slideshow) works just fine, though, there’s no overlapping text, so if one of the readers who are seeing this could provide a screenshot as Rachel described, that’d be a big help to us in seeing what you mean.
