Why are my post titles stacking vertically on the page that lists all posts?

My blog is ESCONDIDO2014.COM. When I log into lists of post from my dashboard, the titles of the posts break after two letters so they form a long vertical column with letters almost stacked on top of one another. When I go to the box where I can write a post, the icons above are overlapping.

I just figured out that because I have a wide column of my bookmarks down the side it was “squeezing” the wordpress post page and forcing it to create this skinny column that broke the post title into a few words. I have eliminated a couple of the categories I don’t need (author, tag and such and now it all looks fine. That also appears to have solved my overlapping problems. Sorry for bothering you and thanks for your quick response.
