Why are my posts not in the reader?

  Hallo Happiness-engeneers,
  please make me happy again! I cannot find my posts in the reader. Might it be, that you regard my blog as not mature? That would be an errr.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  You can find your posts in the Reader, under “Followed Sites” in the left pane, if you subscribe to your own blog.

  The “Discover” tab shows posts handpicked by the Staff from thousands of posts published on WordPress.com every day. The “Recommendations” tab shows blogs you might be interested in following.

  To follow up on that, I’ve noticed that my posts are not showing up in Reader with the tags I’ve given it. For example, my post recent post has the tags “crafts” and “premed” but when I click on those tags in reader I can’t find my own post. Anyway to fix this?

  When I (as a German) understand it right, you and I cannot find our posts by our tags, because we are not “handpicked”.
  I don’t like this censorship. Every post should be found by everybody under the tags.

  Ah, well that’s rather disappointing. I figured the tag system was similar to tumblr where everyone’s post could be seen. Hopefully they address this in the future.

  Just to clarify, Discover and the Reader tag listings are two separate things. Discover is a site run by WordPress.com where we feature the best content from across WordPress, similar to how Freshly Pressed worked previously. You are welcome to submit your own work for consideration if you think it meets the criteria:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-featured-on-discover/

  But we don’t hand-pick the posts that appear in the tag listings in the Reader. Those listings are completely automated, though there are certain circumstances where a site won’t appear in those listings. See here for more information:
