    Hi Amanda,

I’m afraid the information you tried to share about this problem didn’t come through very well and I’m having a hard time understanding exactly what’s happening.

You say posts from surprisingandpowerfulwisdom.wordpress.com and surprisingandpowerfulholidays.wordpress.com are publishing repeatedly–where are they publishing to? I don’t see any duplicate posts on either site–In fact, I don’t see any posts at all on surprisingandpowerfulwisdom.wordpress.com.

It sounds like you tried to attach something to your original request. I’m afraid that didn’t come through either. Could you post a screen shot of what you wanted me to see in your media library instead? The tutorial below will walk you through how to do that.

    Take a Screenshot

Hi Lizthefair, I’m sorry that my request for help was so confusing. You are correct I did want to show you an example of what I was talking about from my facebook page. Obviously I was unsuccessful. I can’t find the example anymore so I will have to wait and see when it happens again and then I can take a screen shot as per the directions you have given me the link to. Thanks

Sorry to hear you can’t see the example any more. If you still have the image/example you tried to attach, you could upload that to your media library and I could view it there. If the problem isn’t still occurring it’s harder to track down, but I’m happy to take a look. If the problem is occurring on your Facebook page, it would also be helpful to have a link to your page. Thanks!

Hi, I found another incident of a multie posting of my two blogs surprisingandpowerfulwisdom.wordpress.com and surprisingandpowerfulholidays.wordpress.com
I have put the image in my media library of my “wisdom” blog

(wisemessagesinabottle was this blogs original name)

Thanks for the images, seeing the problem helped a lot!

You said the posts weren’t scheduled to publish at the same time, but were they set to publish on the same day? Facebook sometimes “helps” by combining posts from the same source in a short period of time into one mega post.

My sense is that’s what happened here.

Here are some options for avoiding the problem in the future:

    1) Spread out your publication dates. If you don’t have posts from multiple blogs automatically sent to Facebook on the same day, Facebook should stop bundling.

    2) Disconnect Publicize from some of your sites. You can still post to Facebook manually from those sites, and doing so would allow you to post whenever you want and still have each post show up separately on Facebook.

This suggestion is the most work, but it’s also the most reliable option.

    3) Complain about the bundling action to Facebook. I’m not sure this option will be super helpful, but it is an annoying feature, and letting them know that doesn’t hurt anything.

Hi Lizthefair, Thanks for your help with my bundling problem on facebook. I’m not surprised that it is facebook that is doing it. I will follow your suggestions and as you say publish manually if necessary.

    Thanks again,
    Amanda
