Why are my scheduled posts no longer publishing?

  My scheduled posts are not publishing, and are displaying ‘missed schedule.’ What is going on?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  So, scheduled posts require someone to visit the site at or after the publishing date in order to trigger the publishing. The other thing that can cause this to happen is if you have more than 100 posts scheduled.

  Thanks for the quick response. I have just over 100 posts scheduled to go. So, what are my solutions?

  At the moment, backing that number down below 100 is your only option.

  Thank you, though, may I suggest this is incredibly inconvenient, and should be looked at more closely for a better solution. I have backed down my scheduled posts to below 100, and still a separate visit at the time of publish is required. Writing less, would be like breathing less. – And there isn’t too much more painful, to anyone who loves to write, than having a pile of drafts.

  Yes, a visit is required to trigger the publishing action.

  As for the 100 post limit, I will pass your comments along the next time improvements to the scheduling process are on the table.
