Why, are my searches, when I am not signed in, shown as page views?

Searches for a keyword of my articles result in a view for that article, even though I am not logged in, ever since I once accidentally did not undo “Remember me on this machine”. All recognized procedures pertaining to trying to undo this, have been in vain. Example, suppose I have an article on Engelbert Humperdinck. Attempting to search for more information on Humperdinck will always show a page view on that day for search terms used, i.e. Humperdinck singer. (I am in a location where the search for the terms of my article are next to impossible.) No viruses seem to affect the different machines I use. No unauthorized use of my wordpress or e-mail accounts has been detected. The apparent problem is only an inflated page-view count, but I wonder if it is also something more.

even though I am not logged in,

If you are not logged in, then wp.com won’t recognize you as the owner of the blog you are viewing.

If wp.com knows you as a logged in user/owner of that account, then the view won’t be counted in your stats.
