Why are my stats suddenly so low?

I’ve been having trouble with my stats over the last few days. I’ve been receiving likes and follows but my traffic is almost non-existent. I know people can access my blog but still not count as a view, but it’s odd that traffic has stopped so suddenly, even though my blog appears to have increased in popularity. I’m confused! I’ve only had one visit over the last four days, even though I’ve received far more likes than usual.

Do be aware the likes and shares are not pages view stats.
Likes and shares are misleading when you are talking about page view stats. Your followers and anyone with a WordPress.com blog who is logged into WordPress.com can “like” and “share” your posts in several locations such as in email and the Reader without ever clicking into your blog and creating a page view stat.
Consider this please: If you provide full posts in your feed then what incentive is there for any readers to click into the blog and create a page view stats?

Also be aware that there are attention seeking like button spammers.
