Why are my widgets disappearing?

  Recently my widgets set up as a sidebar are moving around. I just don’t understand why. Sometimes they are present with my post and other times they are not shown unless one scans way down to the fifth post. I have tried clearing the menu…resetting the widgets…and still it doesn’t resolve this. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated as I especially like to receive comments and have the share buttons available for facebook, twitter, dig, etc.

  Er, no it didn’t – as you can see if you visit your front page (or the problem post).
  Your case falls under Update/2 of my post. You’ve got a heap of wrong code in this post:

  You need to edit the post, switch the editor to Text, and delete these two (a little above “It is our pleasure to introduce”)

  I copied this stuff from a blog which is Featuring me for the month of February. I appreciate your advice and because i usually type in the article myself……I think I will stick to this instead of copying text. The site seems to be working well now and a big THANK YOU TO YOU!

  You’re welcome.
  You didn’t copy plain text, you tried to copy the code of that blog page. But some of that code doesn’t work in the WP Text editor (the line breaks inside the links is what caused the problem), and some of it is associated with a gallery plugin that’s present in that blog but not in yours.

  Thank you! I understand much more what went wrong. Since I am not good at code…….I will just retype instead of copying and pasting. But what you have shared with me is invaluable and as I go along I will explore the options that you have given me. I was really, really stuck. Thought it had something to do with menu and redid all of that. So the fact that is it now working….and I don’t care about second to last post – I will retype it tomorrow…..it is working!!!!! YAY! Thanks so much!
