why are my widgets half way down my page?

This is usually due to broken HTML tags which frequently result from copying and pasting. Dashboad > Settings > Writing and select “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” and then click “Save Changes.”
Now, starting with your latest post, open it in the editor, make one minor change such as adding a space and then deleting it, and then click “Update Post.” Check your blog and see if it is back to normal. If not, open the next post and do the same thing until it goes back to normal.

I also note that your wordpress.com username is linked to a deleted blog. You may want to replace that with a link to your primary wordpress.com blog . If so then Dashboard > Users > Personal Settings-> scroll down to ‘Account Details’ and in the ‘Website’ enter the URL and “Save Changes”.
