Why are pages i have deleted from my blog still appearing?

  The problem i am having is pages i have deleted from my blog still appear? I have deleted a tryout ‘Home’ page and yet it still appears alongside my chosen home page. Unfortunately for me when clicking on my website ‘teainspace’ it opens on this deleted page, where, in nice big letters it says, “Nothing Found”.

  I have checked pages in dashboard and the deleted page does not appear, i have also deleted my trash in the hopes this might help. I have noticed though that upon entering dashboard menu> appearance > menus and viewing ‘pages’, then clicking ‘view all’ the deleted page “Home: Home” is still there?

  I would appreciate any help rectifying this as its driving me nuts;-)

  a) When you create a custom menu, you create a set of links. Deleting a page cannot delete the link to it: you need to edit the custom menu and remove the useless item.

  b) “Home” will always be there in the Pages module: it’s not a link to some page you create, it’s a link to the blog front.
