Why are posts now appearing in Twitter only with a short link?

  The appearance of posts in Twitter recently contain only a short link, no title, no picture, no expand option. Not sure if this is something new with Twitter or WordPress, but it makes for a poor tweet. How to get more about the post directly into the tweet?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hey Joe! If you set a Featured Image for your Posts, Twitter should grab it.
