Why are some of my e-mail subscribers no longer getting e-mail notifications?

    At least two of my subscribers no longer get e-mails notifying them of new posts to my blog. When they go to my blog to try to subscribe again they are told that they already subscribe. I have noted that their e-mails are on the list of subscribers on my e-mail list. What has happened? How can this be fixed? Thank you.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Could you send me the email addresses of the users you know aren’t getting the emails? I’ll be happy to investigate.

    Only you and WordPress.com staff will be able to see email addresses posted here.

    The two I know of are:

    (email visible only to moderators and staff) and (email visible only to moderators and staff)

    I’m showing emails being delivered to both of those addresses. One of them, (email visible only to moderators and staff), gets digest emails rather than immediate posts, but both are getting emails. Could you have them search their email for “WordPress.com”? Perhaps the notices started going to a different folder. . . .

    Thanks for your help. I’ll ask them to check for wordpress.com. Neither person is particularly computer literate so the e-mails probably landed someplace else for some reason.

    BTW, what are digest e-mails? And why would someone get those instead of the entire post? Maybe I’m showing my computer ignorance. Thanks

    This is just one of the ways reader can get updates from you. Once readers have followed your blog, they can elect to receive an email each time you post, or to receive daily or weekly digests of all of your new posts. They can also elect to receive no emails, but to read your blog only in the WordPress.com Reader.

    Oh, thank you. I couldn’t see which of the two people selected to receive a digest because it was redacted from the post. Could you let me know? Just reply whether it was the “gmail” address or not. Thanks That will help me figure out why they’re not getting what they thought they were getting.
