Why are strange (HTML?) marks around the title on post emails to subscribers?
-
Several of my subscribers show me that the email they get from WordPress saying that I have published a new post has what apprears to be something that might be HTML before and after the post title. I have not done anything to my knowledge to format the title (i.e. bold, etc). Since I can’t find how to attach a document, let me type it:
Those Awe-inspiring Mountains or the recent post was:
Time To Laugh at MyselfThanks.

Hello there,
I’m seeing that there’s HTML in the post titles: https://photographybywes586188234.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php
This can happen when text is copied and pasted from one place to another (Word > WordPress).
In the link above, if you click Quick Edit, you should be able to remove that HTML.
