Why are subscribed blogs not showing in Reader?
-
Blogs I have subscribed to are not showing up in Reader. Have logged out and in and resubscribed but still showing nothing – no blogs at all. When I am logged in and click on follow it says following but when I go back in it says follow again not following. Nothing seems to be saving or going through to Reader. My sites page shows subscribed to 12. My WordPress is sgallagherconsultancy.wordpress.com
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Will you please be sure you try this troubleshooting drill?
If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.Note: If you are using an IE9 browser in compatibility mode that makes it render as IE7 and IE7 is not supported. To disable see > http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1196-internet-explorer-compatibility-view-turn-off.html
If you are running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com please do these four things:
1. Try clearing your browser’s cache:
http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
2. Make sure that you have third-party cookies enabled: http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/
3. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.
4. Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
If it’s still happening, let us know exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://www.whatbrowser.org/ and also post any error reports you get.

@cassreimer
Thanks so for making sure you are good to go on your end. It’s a waste of everyone’s time to try and help only to find the blogger has not got things together on their end.Exactly which browser and version of it are you running please?
Staff need to know that and I tagged this thread for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond.

Hi,
My browser is: Chrome version 25.0.1364.172 m.To be more detailed: if I look in reader, it does not show the blogs that I am following at all. I do still get their updates by email.
If I click on my WP dashboard and click on the “Blogs I follow” link, I see only:
Blogs I Follow
Sites (22) | Comments (0) | Settings
You can now manage the blogs you follow in the Reader on the WordPress.com home page.If I try clicking on “sites”, comments or settings, it just reloads the same page again. How can I see the 22 blogs that I am following in a list? Perhaps I am just doing this wrong.
Thanks -
I logged into your reader and you are currently subscribed to three blogs. Note, the Reader will display all posts for the blogs you follow in strict chronological order.
First, the “tmanyi” blog hasn’t been updated in three and a half months.
Next, the “Cass’s” blog, the most recent post is showing on your Reader feed. The next more recent post was over a week ago.
Finally, for the WordPress.com News feed, I do see the most recent two posts aren’t showing up as intended. I’ll look into this further and will get back to you once I have more information.
Thank you!

Hi csonnek, I am not subscribed to those three blogs and I never have been. I am subscribed to the 22 others that I get emails from but cannot see here. That’s the problem.
-
Hi timetheif, those are not blogs that I’ve ever followed. I don’t understand how they got there.
-
I just unsubscribed from the two that are not mine. I still don’t know how to view the list of the 22 that I am still subscribed to and receiving updates from regularly by email.
-
I just wanted to give you an update that we’re still working on this issue. I haven’t forgotten about you! :)
