Why are the blog posts from the blogs I follow no longer coming to my email?

  I am no longer receiving daily emails with the blog posts from the blogs I follow….

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi Kaila,

  I took a look at your subscriptions, and at first glance, it looks like a number of sites you follow have moved their hosting since you subscribed to them.

  For blogs not hosted at WordPress.com and not using the Jetpack plugin (which is a plugin that connects WordPress sites hosted elsewhere to WordPress.com), we can’t send subscription emails — if you’re subscribed to those sites in our Reader, their posts will show in your WordPress.com reader only.

  Those sites might have their own subscription system that you can also sign up for for emails.

  For example, http://chocolatecoveredkatie.com/ isn’t hosted at WordPress.com and isn’t using Jetpack, so while her feed should still appear in your Reader, you will not get emails from WordPress.com for that blog.

  Can you check your subscriptions settings here:
  http://wordpress.com/following/edit/

  Make sure that the sites you should be getting emails for are selected to send you immediate emails. Then, also check to see if they seem to be a WordPress.com site (will say ‘blog at WordPress.com in their footer) or if they appear to be a WordPress site in general (will say ‘powered by WordPress in their footer,’ these blogs might be using Jetpack).

  Then, if there is a WordPress.com/Jetpack site that you haven’t received emails for that you should be, please link me to a specific post on that site that you didn’t get an email for, so I can check our records.

  All from blogs I normally receive and who have not made any changes in their hosting recently.

  Hi Kaila,

  Thanks for the specific examples. It looks like we sent them to you, so it’s possible your email client stopped accepting emails from WordPress.com for some reason. I’m checking with our systems team to see if there’s more information in our logs about what happened.

  Hi Kaila,

  It looks like your account was blocked from receiving new emails four days ago after a number of emails to you bounced back, but it’s since been un-blocked. Can you please check with your email provider to see if they’re blocking emails from WordPress.com?

  You might also whitelist *@wordpress.com and (email visible only to moderators and staff) in your email client.
