Why are the page and widget I deleted still there?

  I have deleted the Home page from my pages and it is still on my blog. Also I have deleted the search widget and it is still showing up as well. The Home page doesn’t exist when I go in and look at all of the pages I have created, but when I view my site it is still there. Why is that?

  Also, the search blog is blocking the title of my last page. How do I fix that? I tried removing the search widget that didn’t work. I also cleared my cache and cookies, that did not work either.
