Why are the stats for post views below the post wrong?

  my site stats and the Facebook “like button,” which shows how much FB traffic is coming for a post, don’t match. The button below the post says 500 but the post has gotten over 4k views via FB according to the site stats info page. Can I fix this? Is there another way to show the stats for a post below the post itself?
