Why are the tabs and site title jumbled up?

  The tabs and site title are jumbled up. There were no issues with this earlier today (18MAR2015). The (now blank) space for the site title is covering a portion of the tabs, and the site title itself (outside of it’s space with no clear space around it) is covering the upper left hand corner of the page/post itself obscuring the pages’ name. A screen grab of this problem is available if you need it.

  I tried clearing cookies, clearing the cache, and closing/restarting my browser (Firefox) several times, and even tried clearing all of the above, closing the browser, then waiting a while before restarting it. Nothing has helped this issue.

  Hi there,

  I checked your site and I see what you mean about the layout being jumbled up. That’s happening because the header image on your site was deleted from your site’s media library. Deleting an image from the media library permanently deletes it from your site and results in a broken image. (That broken header image is what’s causing trouble for the site’s layout.)

  You can fix that by re-adding the header image in your site’s Customizer. In the “Header Image” area there you can use either a previously uploaded header image or upload a new image there.

  That’s interesting. About 2 weeks ago I deleted duplicate images in Media, but the header image was not affected and worked fine until last night. No images were deleted yesterday. I followed your instructions and clicked on the previous image shown in Customizer and that corrected the problem. Thank you very much for your help! :)

  It sounds like the header image was probably cached (saved) in your browser up until yesterday. The image itself was deleted a couple weeks ago, but you may have still been seeing the cached version on the site on your computer. In any case, I’m glad the problem is fixed now! :)
