Why are the widgets on my dashboard all in a mess and can't be dragged etc?

  After 2 weeks, with a new blog and widgets set I wanted to add a new widget. But now the widgets page is a weird mess. No icons – just text and no visible sidebar, footer etc. So can’t use widgets page. Suits theme. WordPress.com

  Also, tried to start a new blog with a different theme. Same problem right from the start. The widgets page on dashboard is a total mess.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  DITTO what she said, including switching themes. I created a new blog, and I have both left and right matching sidebars and it wont let me remove one — the widget interface looks wonky. I was able to delete a widget but it deleted it from both sidebars and that is not my goal. Hoped it would be “better” today but remains the same.
