Why are there no plug-ins to pin posts to Pinterest?
-
I’ve been looking all over for information on how to install a pin-it button to my blog, and apparently there are no widgets that support Pinterest. I was surprised that you can add buttons to your posts to share things on Facebook, Twitter, Reddit and a bunch of others, but no Pinterest there either. Am I missing something?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello, here is a page where you can make one. https://business.pinterest.com/en/widget-builder#do_pin_it_button

I had found that page and did try it, but no matter where I plug it in, it doesn’t seem to work. I tried to do it on the footer section (footer one and two) since my theme seems to leave off all of the widgets on the individual pages (meaning if I have it on the side widgets, those only show up on the front page and not on individual pages), but when I add it to the footer it disappears. There’s still no visible pin button on any of the posts. I’ve tried a half dozen times and just gave up. Thanks though.

@zenplugs: please do not give wrong answers. This is WordPress.com forum and sites hosted by WordPress.com can not use plugins.

@poett:
see here for sharing with Pinterest:

for pin button:If you have enabled the official buttons, a “Pin It” hover button will automatically appear for your images.
Create your own widget (pinterest example):

Got it figured out. I found out I could add more services than the options it was showing me for the sharing buttons. Thanks!
