Why are there some templates that have no Home item on the menu?
-
There are some templates that appeal, but have no Home item set up on the menu. I feel sure there’s an easy way to create it, but … ?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Howdy,
Sure thing. Some themes have a “placeholder” menu already in place; others wait for you to create it. You can create a menu from Appearance->Custom Menus.
We have a video showing the process at Custom Menus.
To add a “Home” item, you’d want to create a “Link” menu item, replace the http:// with a single / and then set the link text to Home (or whatever you’d like).
If you have any questions, please let me know!

Well! – O wise and bearded person, I thank you! :-)
I kinda knew there’d be a solution but, as always, I knew not how to find it for myself.
Where would we all be without you guys?! -

OBO … have found that creating that link menu item as my ‘home’ (which I call, simply ‘Blog’) can’t be done by replacing the
http://
with a single slash! I tried. I also tried replacing with a single slash and removing the ‘www.’, in case …
But the only way I seem to be able to get it to work is to enter it like a full URL. What moronic thing am I doing wrong, please? -
Howdy again!
I’m not sure off-hand. I went into your Custom Menu and changed it for you so you can see how it should look.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
