Why are tweets from first posting different from tweets w button?

    When I first publish a post and send out a tweet at the same time, the tweet has an image displayed (I believe this is the “twitter card” thing).

    When I decide to re-tweet by clicking on the Twitter button on the post, the tweet has only a web link to the post, but no image.

    Is it possible to re-tweet with the image (aka the Twitter card)?
