Hi there,
You own the WordPress.com site estudiosfronterizos.wordpress.com, with the custom domain estudiosfronterizos.org. You only ever registered that domain name ending in .org, which means other people could register the custom domain names with other endings, like estudiosfronterizos.com or estudiosfronterizos.net. Each of those is a separate domain name.
Please let me know if you have any questions about that!

So, doesn’t matter for WordPress if there’s two or three blogs with the same name but with different ending, meanwhile every one paid the domain… Great!
I supposed that you defended originality and creativity, even when you create a mail account can’t repeat a name. It’s awesome.
It’s a shame. -
Hi there,
When you register a domain name (anywhere, not just at WordPress.com), you register the right to use that exact name (for example, estudiosfronterizos.org) and no one else can use that name. However, the domain name includes the ending (.org, .com, .net), so estudiosfronterizos.org, estudiosfronterizos.com, and estudiosfronterizos.net are all different domain names. If you only own one of those (estudiosfronterizos.org) that means the others (estudiosfronterizos.com or estudiosfronterizos.net) are available for someone else to register.
It’s kind of like having an email address at Gmail.com or Yahoo.com. If you own the email address myemail @ gmail.com, someone else can still register the email address myemail @ yahoo.com since that’s a separate address.
These pages have more information about domains if you’d like to learn more:

Sure thing! WordPress.com has an Email Forwarding service you can use, if you’d like. You can set that up on your My Domains page. On that page, click the “Edit” button next to your domain and then you can go to the Email tab to set up email forwarding.
If you prefer, you can Add Email from a third-party email provider, instead. (That way you can send and receive email from your email address using your domain.)
Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)
