Why are visitor's getting a security warning?
-
I have a domain name of asistersthoughts.com. I wrote a blog post today and promoted it on Facebook. When anyone clicks the link, they get a Security warning. Also when you go directly to asistersthoughts.com, you get a warning that it could be spoofed because it is sending you to *.wordpress.com.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I think this is happening because right now you have asistersthoughts.com set to redirect to asistersthoughts.wordpress.com. To fix this, you need to set asistersthoughts.com as the primary domain on your account. To do that, go to this page:
https://asistersthoughts.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains
Select your custom domain as the primary domain, then save the changes. Then, you should be all set!
Hope this helps!

I had actually changed it from my custom domain being primary back to the original way (domain.wordpress.com) because of the cert error and the warning on re-direct. As of this morning I’m not getting the cert error so I appreciate you looking into the matter.

I’m glad to hear that. Please let us know if it happens again or if there’s anything else we can do.
Cheers!
