Why are visitors who "subscribe" not getting a welcome email?

  My new blog subscribers are not receiving the introduction/welcome email from me. I’m using the Jetpack Blog Subscriptions widget. I sent a test email to myself hours ago, checked my spam folder, and nothing has come through.

  My site shows the “An email was just sent to confirm your subscription. Please find the email now and click activate to start subscribing.” message…but no email arrives in my inbox.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
